We Welcome to
the Pulpit this Evening Dr.
Wynn Kenyon. A Ruling Elder at Redeemer, Wynn is Professor of
Biblical Studies and Philosophy, Chair of the Philosophy Department
and Division of Ministry and Human Services at
Belhaven College.
He received his B.A. from
Marietta College,
his M. Div. from
Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and his M. A. and Ph. D.
from the
University of Miami. He has developed and written the
course materials and lectures for the introduction to Worldview
classes at Belhaven College, as well as various other courses taught
during his twenty-five years as a professor at Belhaven College.
Wynn has a passion for teaching and helping his students understand
and embrace the biblical worldview. Wynn and his wife, Ginny,
have three grown children: Amy, Stephen, and Michael. |

Sound Team
Training: If you are
interested in being a part of the sound ministry at Redeemer, a
great opportunity is available to you. We have recently
upgraded our sound system and will have training for those currently
a part of the team and anyone interested in joining this vital
ministry. Plan now to attend two training sessions:
August 2, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., and then August 5, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Music Ministry at Redeemer
Musicians Needed: If you
play a musical instrument and would like to be a
part of the music ministry of Redeemer, please
contact
Loretta Galbreath
for more information about your involvement.
We are particularly in need of bass players and
percussionists.
Choir Resumes:
Redeemer's choir will resume in August at both
morning worship services. If you are
interested in being a part of the choir, please
contact
Loretta Galbreath.
Choir Workshop: All
musicians -- current choir members, those interested
in joining the choir, and those playing musical
instruments -- should plan to attend the Fall Choir
Workshop on Saturday, August 2, from 9:00 a.m. until
3:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Darlene Estes) - Recovering from surgery for a fractured ankle.

work, and suffering back/body pain.

Sarah Fortenberry (Alecia
Wallace's mother) - Recovering from hip replacement
surgery.

Betty Flanagan (grandmother of
Sarah & Michael Phillips) - Continues to hold on in
Oklahoma, although doctors do not expect
her to live more than a few more days.

Albert Mills (father of Stuart
Mills) - PSA levels continue to rise. He will have
a bone scan to try to determine where the cancer is
located.

Becky Fujioka (mother of Meg
Mills) - Undergoing cancer treatments in Japan.

Dale Boersma (Joanna
Dieckman's father) - Lou Gehrig's Disease. He has
been released from the hospital as the pneumonia is
mostly gone.

Shannon Williford (Lissy Ross'
father) - Undergoing chemotherapy treatments for cancer.

Al Rhett (Keren Campbell's
brother-in-law) - Diagnosed with colon cancer, he is
recovering from recent surgery and in need of strength
for future treatments.

Andrew Thompson (Keren
Campbell's brother) - Continuing to recover from a brain
injury related to a motorcycle accident.

Jonathan Perkins (nephew of
Ron & Joanie Potter) - Diagnosed with Hodgkin's
lymphoma.

Josiah Huggins (Sam & Louise
Larsen's son-in-law) - Has been deployed to Iraq for
fifteen months. Please pray for him, his wife
Kristen, and their children.
